Caldan Conveyer appoints new Managing Director
Hans Gustav Rasmussen, previously Chief Financial Officer, has taken over as Managing Director of the Danish conveyor system specialist with immediate effect.
Caldan Group, part of Axel Johnson International, has announced a change at the top of its management. Claus Nørgaard is stepping down as Managing Director following a mutual agreement with the parent company. Hans Gustav Rasmussen, who has served as CFO of the group since 2022, assumes the role with immediate effect.
Rasmussen joined the Galten-based company after 14 years in finance leadership roles at Vestas Wind Systems. Since his arrival, he has been part of the management team and has been involved in a number of strategic initiatives, with a stated focus on the people and processes behind the figures.
“Caldan’s strength is the way we work as one united international team, with deep conveyor knowledge and a shared commitment to finding the right solution for every customer,” said Rasmussen. “My priority will be to support and develop the organisation in the best way, to keep relentless customer focus at the centre of everything we do, and to keep pushing the boundaries of what our technology can deliver.”
Transition and Continuity
To ensure a smooth handover, Nørgaard and Rasmussen will work together on an orderly transition before Nørgaard leaves the company. The search for a new CFO has already begun.
During Nørgaard’s five years in charge, the group expanded internationally, grew by more than 30% and completed its first acquisition with the French engineering company SEMA.
